Education

Columbia University

Sept 2019 - Dec 2020(expected)

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering

Courses include: Cloud Computing and Big Data, Statistical Learning, Neural Network and Deep learning, Operating System, Database, Computer Network, Algorithm...

Xi'an Jiaotong University(XJTU)

Sept 2015 - Jun 2019

Bachelor of Science in Electronic and Information Technology

Projects

The Web Developer App “YelpCamp”

Designed full-stack web applications about travel social sharing from scratch using Express, MongoDB, and Semantic UI, including create static HTML and CSS portfolio sites and landing pages, use Bootstrap to create good looking responsive layouts

Used NodeJS to write server-side JavaScript; Manipulated the DOM with jQuery

Build and Operate a 3-Layer Network & Video CDN

Set up a valid forwarding state within an autonomous system (AS) and between ASes using OSPF; Implement different BGP policies to reflect business relationships or traffic with outer internet

Used socket programming and HTTP to implement a proxy that handles multithreaded clients and passes data (video) back and forth between client-server

The proxy can smartly perform bitrate adaptation based on network status

Recurrence of all Basic Concepts and Classic Models in Deep Learning (using GCP)

Implemented basic classifiers, MLP, dim reduction (PCA and tSNE), optimizers (SGD with Momentum, RMSprop, Adam), regularization (Dropout, Batch Normalization), data augmentation in Python (NumPy, TensorFlow and so on)

Implemented convolutional neural network (used LeNet to achieve over 95% accuracy in Kaggle bottle classification competition), recurrent neural network (compute XOR operation); realized simple translating French to English

Reproduced the paper “Multi-Digit Number Recognition from Street View Imaginary Using Deep CNN”
